MUST HAVE CURRENT CO CNA LICENSE AND BLS ON APPLICATION TO INTERVIEW Summary: Under the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care activities. WORK SCHEDULE: PRN Days Responsibilities: Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN, including but not limited to, monitoring vital signs, taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output. Assists patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living, including but not limited to, bathing, grooming and eating. Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Assists with keeping unit(s) and patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly. Withinscope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and theability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in afast-paced environment and take appropriate action. REQUIREMENTS: * Credentials: Essential: * Certified Nurse Asst * Basic Life Support * Other information: Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or GED. Required Licensure/Certification: Certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA). Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. Minimum Experience: None required. * _IF APPLICABLE:_ BLSthrough the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for theProfessional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPRcard must be good through sixty days of hire. All life supportcertification cards must be issued by either the American Heart Association orthe American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
