On Site or Work from Home Position We are seeking a Cost Control Supervisor to join our dynamic cost control team to mentor, coach and lead within our program control team. The ideal candidate will serve as the senior finance representative for the assigned Operating Units (OU)s Director with the primary duty of cost control for a portfolio of government programs. This dynamic leader will manage complex programs in addition to providing financial leadership and direction to the program cost control team. Reports Directly to the Division Program Planning and Control Manager Primary Duties: Serves as the principal point of contact on financial matters for OU Director. Provides Daily leadership, coaching and direction to direct reports. Supervises and develops assigned finance personnel Oversees, manages and guides staff on various financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting, and analysis. Provides management with financial analysis and reporting to ensure costs are controlled and profits maximized. Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as FAR, SOX, CAS and other government regulations. Develop and maintain Estimates to Complete (EAC---s) across various projects (Cost-Type, T&M, Fixed Price, etc.) Preparation of internal and external financial reporting as required by contract or to assist other functions throughout the organization, including Monthly Contract Report. Participates in the preparation and review of cost proposals and contract modifications. Interface with the following departments: contracts, subcontracts, accounting, accounts payable, purchasing, and pricing. Provide direction and instruction to billing shared services for preparation and submission of invoices Advanced knowledge of the practices, procedures and processes of financial analysis. Advanced ability to analyze and present complex financial information in simple terms, presenting conclusions and recommendations to Operating Unit Director and next level manager Review strategic and task order pricing, providing pricing recommendations. Ensure that pricing is compliant with estimating policy Ensure business is delivering timely and accurate internal and external financial deliverables. Engages with program management and supporting functions to resolve complex contractual and financial issues. Anticipates and understands customer needs and takes proactive action to meet those needs. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing is important Qualifications: Education Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience. Experience 10 or more years of related finance or business analysis experience Must be a US Citizen Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a government contracting environment. Cost Point, Cognos, OnBase, Deltek and WorkDay experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially in Outlook and Excel. Base Compensation: Pay range $93,400 - $140,200 The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate---s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity. Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
