Come be a part of our mission Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to join our team as a Systems Engineer based out of Colorado Springs, CO. What You'll get to Do Complete use case development, and prepare systems engineering artifacts including definition of Epics and Features to be developed by program Cross-Functional Product Teams to implement customer requested capabilities. Support the development and review of interface documents, system requirements, Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM) development, architectural documentation, system engineering estimates, and author and perform formal and informal engineering reviews. Adhere to DOORS processes and procedures, reviewing the content and details of technical products, and acting as a technical interface to MDA working level counterparts on an as-required basis. Work with teams crossing multiple functions in order to drive data connectivity from architecture-to-requirements-to-test. Work with CFPT and FA leadership to develop a tool integration vision and will coordinate and assist in execution of that tools integration vision. As such, the candidate will need to demonstrate an ability to instruct and support systems test engineers as well as architects in the use and implementation of digitization tools. Additionally, there will be a focus on service-oriented metrics collection to allow for measurement of tool integration success. Qualifications Basic Qualifications An active Secret clearance is required. 9 years of experience with Bachelor's degree in STEM OR 7 years of experience with a Master's degree Experience in mission analysis with skill in development of use cases, sequence diagrams, and SysML modeling in support of MBSE. Experience in missile defense command and control, battle management, architectures and communications system concepts, mission, and common system test and data analysis techniques including verification of requirements. Requirements solicitation, derivation, and decomposition to lower level subsystems and components. Maintenance of system and component baselines in a requirement management system defining the relationships between internal and external components communicating system level use cases and associated Epics and Feature relationships to a diverse group of customers, developers, engineers, subject matter experts, and users. Candidate must have experience participating in requirements development and capability assessments of the C2BMC or equivalent BMDS elements. Experience must include specific roles on a program with respect to use case development, requirements solicitation, derivation, and decomposition through a structured and logical approach. Candidate must be able to lead efforts associated with the development of objectives and requirements for capability assessments and have prior experience writing assessment plans. Candidate must have experience developing Use cases to support test case flow development. In addition, the candidate must also have experience using Java, Python, andor other scripting languages and must be able to lead teams in the development of tools using these languages. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Agile Methods, and Epic and Feature definition is a significant plus. Skills generating systemelement level functional, performance, and interface specifications to document and control the achievement of the desired capabilities. Experience in developing capability assessments, assessment objectives and related assessment plans and procedures. Experience in scripting and automated test development is a plus. Skills in logical architecture modeling andor interface definition, as well as knowledge of cyber security concepts and security accreditation are highly desirable.
