The C2BMC Software and Digital Technology team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Network Engineer based out of Colorado Springs, CO. What You'll get to Do: - In this position you will be the primary point of contact for the management of network infrastructure and development systems that include, but are not limited to, the following: Active directory integration, Bitbucket, File servers, Application servers, Web servers, and DNS. - You will be responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the Linux environment to include, but not limited to the following: - Responsible for ensuring security updates and patches are current - Responsible for adding, maintaining and deleting user accounts - Responsible for completing and documenting all required security audits - Responsible for managing and maintaining interfaces between MS Windows, Linux systems and Unix systems - Responsible for creating and maintaining server configuration documentation for the lab - Responsible for creating and maintaining Linux, Unix sys admin processes and procedures - Responsible for ensuring all Linux, Unix data is backed up and restoring data as necessary - Responsible for ensuring disaster recovery processes and procedures are accurate and current - Responsible for monitoring server capacity such as: disk, CPU, memory - Assist with managing all network resources within the Linux, Unix lab environments, to include software licenses - Responsible for managing and maintaining network data storage - Other duties as assigned by the Network Functional Area Manager Additional Northrop Grumman Information: Northrop Grumman has approximately 85,000 employees in all 50 states and in more than 25 countries, we strive to attract and retain the best employees by providing an inclusive work environment wherein employees are receptive to diverse ideas, perspectives and talents to help solve our toughest customer challenges: to develop and maintain some of the most technically sophisticated products, programs and services in the world. Experience managing lab network infrastructure to include daily operations, security management, corporate compliance, and services administration.
