Launch and Missile Defense Systems has an exciting career
opportunity for a Staff Engineer Systems - Global Technical
Integration Lead (25-039) to join our team of qualified, diverse
individuals. This position will be in Colorado Springs, CO, or
Huntsville, AL. Position Overview: The Command and Control, Battle
Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program integrates the
Missile Defense System. It is a vital operational system that
enables the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant
commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to
systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, to see
the battle develop collectively, and to dynamically manage
designated networked sensors and weapons systems to achieve global
and regional mission objectives. C2BMC supports a layered missile
defense capability that enables an optimized response to threats of
all ranges in all phases of flight. C2BMC is the force multiplier
that globally and regionally networks integrate, synchronizing
autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations to optimize
performance. C2BMC is integral to all system ground and flight
tests, which verify and exercise all current and future missile
defense system capabilities. Essential Functions:
- Support Iteration Planning by driving technical coordination
across the ARTs is understood and reflected in ART and RMA
plans
- Identify significant work efforts that involve multiple ARTs
and drive cross-team coordination
- Lead and coordinate the Joint Product Team (JPT) for C2NT,
coordinating with BC counterpart on agenda
- Track and Manage PRs across the C2BMC
- Track, Manage, and Assess Metrics across C2BMC
- Assess and Refine metrics to provide actionable data
- Integrates and de-conflicts Solution Chief Spiral/Blocks (i.e.,
ensure that changes are coordinated and understood across all
spirals and appropriate phasing is documented)
- Establish and Manage the C2BMC Program Roadmap
- Coordinate with solution management and solution chiefs to
identify impacts and develop recommended changes to the Integrated
Government Schedule (IGS)
- Coordinate the SEIT board for integration, ensuring the right
people are engaged
- ECPs, EEs for TIs, Issue Resolutions
- Review SEIT proposals for alignment with and impact on Program
Roadmap, as well as how to cover adequately during next iteration
planning (e.g., upcoming OM&S Projects, TIs, ECPs)
- Ensure technical integrity and consistency of proposals; this
requires coordination with other ART/RMA technical leads, solutions
chiefs, and other appropriate technical leadership
- Ensure the Capability Landing Page is populated and
prioritizedSalary Range for Colorado Springs: $155,400 - $233, 200
Salary Range for Huntsville: $ 163,200 - $244,800 Basic
Qualifications: Please note your updated security clearance and
IAT/relevant certifications on your resume, if applicable.
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Computer Science, Technology,
Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an
accredited university and -12 years of related experience or a
Master's degree in a related STEM discipline and 10 years of
related experience, or PhD in related STEM discipline with 8 years
of relevant experience
- Applicants must have a current active in-scope DoD-issued
Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is
required to start
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% to support business
needs
- Experience with Agile Methods and Capability & Feature
definition
- Experience writing and reviewing proposals and EEs and
coordinating across engineering disciplines
- Experience with integration of procedures and processes across
engineering disciplines
- Ability to adapt to constant change and communicate and
coordinate across engineering disciplines
- Ability to communicate effectively and present technical
approaches and findings
- Demonstrated ability to implement engineering plans within a
project
- Detail-oriented

Additional Northrop Grumman Information: Salary Range: $155,400 -
$244,800The above salary range represents a general guideline;
however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when
determining base salary offers such as the scope and
responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience,
education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the
position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift
differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability
insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off
(PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period
