The Space Systems Command (SSC) Technical Support (STS) 3rd Follow-on (STS-3) contract provides acquisition, technical and engineering support to the USSF Space Systems Command (SSC) Battle Management Command, Control & Communications Sustainment (BCS). BCS acquires services to modernize and sustain the Satellite Control Network (SCN). We are seeking a Systems Engineer with experience in engineering and testing to join the BCS STS-3 contract supporting the SCN government team.Duties include:--- Providing systems engineering and integration technical support for satellite communications network systems including Telemetry, Tracking & Control (TT&C), scheduling, communications, and associated systems.--- Perform engineering of system architectures, requirements analysis and decomposition, including system performance test and verification.--- Perform engineering analyses to predict and define problems, define/design actionable corrective measures, and operational implementation of SCN systems.--- Prepare and review test plans and test reports, analytical evaluation of systems' compatibility, and development of requirements.--- Review and assess contractor designs and conduct trade studies on alternative system design approaches.--- Document and analyze test cases for completeness and requirement verification.--- Participate in and lead technical meetings and government-led studies, assess technical baselines, and ensure system modifications meet requirements.--- Lead projects through planning, acquisition, and execution as technical support to the Government.Qualifications Required (Skills)--- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent along with a Master's Degree and a minimum 10 years of relevant experience.--- Technical skills to understand and analyze system problems, define potential solutions, and conduct in-depth technical analysis, assessments and trades and explain results of technical studies in a systems engineering context.--- Experience with requirements traceability, architecture development, system-of-systems integration, test planning, development and execution testing, and technical document development.--- Experience with test process development, test case design, test procedure development, test execution, system evaluation and test reporting.--- Demonstrates understanding of performance and requirements analysis techniques, and acceptance testing strategies/methodologies.--- Demonstrated understanding of software engineering, processes, and architectures.--- Demonstrated ability to lead projects through the Systems Engineering life cycle and leading a team in identifying customer needs.--- Experience with engineering tools such as MATLAB and Python.--- Experience with software coding and code analysis.--- MUST HAVE A CURRENT SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE, FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN.
