advancement.Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and
customer-oriented Network Systems Administrator I to join our team
in Colorado Springs, CO.The System Administrator supports the team
in the upkeep of Information Technology (IT) systems and maintains
infrastructure and standard operating procedures for the systems
continuing performance. Supports day to day operations, and
monitors and resolves issues for customer/server/storage/network
devices and mobile devices as they pertain to Information
Technology systems. They aid in resolving issues and providing
support for hardware complications as well as the dispatch system.
They also set up, update and ensure functionality of operating
systems and network components to improve integrity and efficiency.
This position will support activities within Special Access
Programs (SAPs) supporting Department of Defense (DoD) agencies,
such as HQ Air Force, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and
Military Compartments efforts. The position will provide
"day-to-day" support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented
Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP)
activities.Performance shall include:
- Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and
maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.
- Manages IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring
and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network
devices, mobile devices, etc.
- Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem
identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Provides
support for the escalation and communication of status to agency
management and internal customers.
- Provide technical support to computer users to help solve
users' problems.
- Responding to queries on the phone, via email, in person, or
through remote access.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating
systems (OS), Microsoft Exchange Server, and as needed RHEL OS
administration and associated hardware.
- Execute day to day management and operations of systems and
networks.
- Follow Operations and Maintenance (O&M) checklists to
maintain the service (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly O&M
checklists); build Tactics, Techniques and Processes (TTPs) and
Standard Operating Processes (SOPs) associated with service
checklists
- Technical competency in one or more of the following supported
platforms: MS Hyper-V/VMWare/ESx/Xen Hypervisors, Enterprise
networking and firewall systems, Group Policy configuration,
Scripting, WSUS, Microsoft 365Basic Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in a related area or 2 additional years of
experience in lieu of degree equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year related experience
- CompTIA Security+
- TS/SCI
- Eligibility for access to SAP Information
- Counterintelligence (CI) Poly or willingness to submit to a CI
polygraphPreferred Qualifications:
- A strong working knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and
software.
- Good problem-solving, analytical, and team-working skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- An openness to learning new technologies.
- Knowledge of CISCO network and switching and virtualization
technologies
- Knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network
(WAN) technologies and data backup technologies to include
communication security (COMSEC) integrationPhysical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access
file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity
machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer
printer.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and
customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able
to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Must be able to regularly lift 50lbsThe projected compensation
range for this position is $60,500-$100,800. There are
differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate,
including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination,
relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the
specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities),
education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract
Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it's employees
