Operations Systems Administrator to work onsite at Schriever AFB,
CO . Primary Responsibilities: The selected candidate will be part
of a team that reports to leadership and performs daily system
monitoring, operations and maintenance of the multi-classified
domain systems in a 24x7 operations and test environment. The
candidate will provide first level technical support to the
warfighter and perform initial troubleshooting of all local program
hardware, software and networks. The candidate will document and
report all events/issues using Atlassian Confluence and Microsoft
Office products to the Lead, and receive tasking and direction from
the Leadership for all operations, test & real world events. The
candidate will also assist in all hardware/software installations
as directed by the local Subject Matter Experts. Performs other
duties and assignments as required. Must have a sound background
and experience with operations and maintenance of large-scale
computer and communications systems/networking environments. Solid
background and experience in system and/or network administration
that include the following (UNIX, Linux, Windows, Cisco and
Juniper) as well as experience in troubleshooting hardware and
software components. Required Experience: An active and in-scope
Secret U.S. security clearance required day 1 of employment. Must
meet and be current with DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification
requirements (Security + CE, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA
Security). Candidate will be responsible to maintain DoD 8570
certification for the full contract period. Typically requires a
degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years
prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9
years of relevant experience. Desired Skills: Proficiency in
Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Experience and knowledge of
System or Missile Defense Systems. Must have the ability to
maintain additional caveats to Top Secret clearance Additional job
info: Position requires rotating 24x7 shift work at steady state
but not initially. Candidate will be assigned to a shift and
assignment to be determined by mission requirements. Some
substitute rotation during off-shifts, including nights and
weekends will be required when the time comes. This requisition is

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD;
however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer,
including but not limited to, the role and associated
responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location,
education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be
