is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join our team
supporting our DARC program. The position can be based at our
facility in either Colorado Springs, Colorado or Bellevue,
Nebraska.The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop
Grumman's Space Surveillance & Environmental Intelligence Division
within the Space Sector.Ideal candidates will be experienced with
Agile and Scrum methodologies, prior hands-on technical experience
with relevant tools (Dockers, Kubernetes, CICD) and has
demonstrated the ability to identify and solve challenging
technical problems.Job responsibilities will include, but not be
limited to, the following:Scripting various languages including
Ansible, Python, or PowerShell to automate labor intensive
repetitive tasksDevelopment of the release cycle, while operating
within a continuous integration environment that emphasizes
verifiable secure components and processesUtilize Versioning
Repository tools, Continuous Integration Frameworks, Application
Containerization, Automation Deployment, Code Quality and Code
Security Scanning toolsIdentify and solve challenging technical
problemsThis requisition may be filled at either a level 3 or a
level 4, depending on the candidate's experience as laid out in the
basic qualifications detailed below as well as the interview
assessment.Basic QualificationsLevel 3:5 Years of related
experience with a Bachelor's degree; 3 Years of related experience
with a Master's; 0 Years of related experience with a PhD; 9 or
more years of related work experience may be considered in lieu of
a degreeMust be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense
Top Secret security clearance (US Citizenship is
required)Experienced with software development and/or scripting

Radar SystemsLevel 4:9 Years of related experience with a
Bachelor's degree; 7 Years of related experience with a Master's; 4

clearance (US Citizenship is required)Experienced with software

schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a
nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday

reports to Colorado Springs, CO, USA, however, this position can
also be worked from Bellevue, NE, NE, USA.Salary Range: $90,400 USD
- $142,700 USDSalary Range 2: $112,000 USD - $176,900 USDEmployees
may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
