Job Description:

Software Developer (backend)
Schriever AFB, CO

MUST :
Active DoD Secret clearance
2+ years of backend development experience
Strong development experience with two of the following languages : C#, C++ and/or Java
Must have a basic understanding of Windows and Linux platforms
Experience using GIT or other version control systems
Experience with Agile software development practices
Familiarity with Linux KVM (Kernal based virtual Machines) is a plus
Experience with Atlassian tool suite is a plus
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
High attention to detail
Bachelors Degree required or 3 additional years of development experience

DUTIES :
The ideal candidate will develop and support the modeling and simulation of various defense systems
Candidates will also help design, develop, test, document, and integrate simulation programs for the team
Assists engineering efforts that provide software engineering and technical direction for problem definition, analysis, requirement development, and implementation for complex systems in the engineering discipline required to meet technical requirements
Participates in efforts that develop recommendations and advice on system development, improvements, optimization, or support efforts
