Job Description:

This position will
develop, implement, validate, and maintain course material; lead Space Flag
Prep Course (SFPC) execution; and provide subject matter expertise other 319th Combat
Training Squadron (CTS) courses.Responsibilities:

• Design and develop 319 CTS training
• Schedule and execute SFPC courses,
  determine and develop course content changes with stakeholders, prepare peer
  instructors to teach, and hold others to high standards of conduct
• Provide classroom instruction consistent with Instructional System
  Development (ISD) satisfying government training requirements
• Interface with internal and external agencies as required in order
  to maintain an up-to-date training program, including attending planning
  conferences throughout the year to inform course alignment with exercise
  changes
• Conduct, manage and qualify for courses based on 319 CTS
  instructions and other guidance as identified in the lesson plans Coordinate
  instructional activities with the Division Chief, training managers, and
  government training personnel
• Additional duties as assignedRequirements:
  • Master's degree from an accredited institution. A Bachelor's degree plus 8 years work experience in an applicable field may be substituted for the education requirement
  • Six (6) to eight (8) years of experience with DAF training and exercises, to include planning and delivering instruction in accordance with the ISD model and training records keeping
  • Expert ISD methodology knowledge and experience
  • Expert knowledge of integrating air, space, and cyberspace
    capabilities into joint and theater operations with emphasis on fundamentals of
    orbital warfare
  • Expert knowledge of and experience with Department of the Air
    Force (DAF) exercises (Space Flag highly desired)
  • Working knowledge of and experience with operational level command
    and control, AFTTP 3-3.IPE mission planning, execution, and debrief processes
  • Top Secret Clearance and SCI eligibilityPreferred:
    • Recent experience with Orbital Warfare, Rendezvous Proximity
      Operations, Space Electromagnetic Warfare, Space Domain Awareness, and/or Missile
      Warning/Missile Defense, and their integration and simulation, especially with
      Systems Toolkit, level 3 certification
    • Completion of Air Force Instructor Course or equivalent training
      program completion or experience
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word,
      PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook), experience with Visual Basic for Applications
