Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal Embedded
Software Engineer. This position can be located in Huntsville,
Alabama, Colorado Springs, Colorado or Roy, Utah and will support
the Sentinel (GBSD) program. This role can be filled at multiple
levels based on candidate experience and education.
What You'll Get To Do:
Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the
following:
The selected candidate will be responsible for developing software
for the Command & Launch (C&L) Software Team. Utilizing DevOps
and Agile methodologies you will be constantly optimizing systems
and services for security, automation, and
performance/availability, while ensuring solutions developed adhere
and align to the baseline systems designs, configuration
management, and architecture standards. You will work closely in a
DevOps environment with the program personnel to ensure smooth
execution of continuous integration and test.
This position may be filled at multiple levels depending on
experience.
This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule
allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday
to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive

Salary Range: $87,600 USD - $171,500 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to
base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage,
life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays
and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
