history.Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to
join our team on the Specialized Warfighter Development Contract
(SWDC) program as a Systems Administrator based out of Schriever
AFB, CO.The successful candidate will be a vital member of the
Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) team and will perform in a
System Administrator role.The typical primary duties include
maintaining smooth operation of multi-user computer systems,
including coordination with network administrators, interacting
with users and evaluates vendor products, making recommendations to
purchase hardware and software, coordinating installation and
providing backup recovery, developing and monitoring policies and
standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
Ancillary duties may include setting up administrator and service
accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system
performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass
storage space. The candidate will provide support for hardware and
software issues, data recovery, system upgrades, software upgrades,
configuration issues, system installation and relocation.
Additional tasks will involve working with the Cyber Security team
performing STIG checks, addressing deficiencies, remediating
findings and hardening systems.This position can be filled at a
level 2 or 3 depending on experience.Basic Qualifications:--- Level
2: Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience, or 8 years of
experience in lieu of a degree--- Level 3: Bachelor's degree with 6
years of experience, or 10 years of experience in lieu of a
degree--- Experience administering and configuring Windows Server,
Red Hat Enterprise Linux, or VMWare--- Security+ or equivalent
certification--- Ability to lift at least 35 lbs--- Active Secret
clearance required to startPreferred Qualifications:--- Experience
with DoD STIGs--- Experience with Red Hat Linux --- Experience in
Virtualization technology (VMWare)--- Experience
configuring/maintaining Networking Hardware (Switch, Router,
Firewall)--- Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python,
PowerShell) --- Experience utilizing cybersecurity software
applications--- Experience working with vendors to expedite
installations and repairs to ensure maximum uptime--- Familiarity
with Agile, SAFe, DevSecOps concepts--- In-depth experience in
Operations and Maintenance activities of IT infrastructure---
Active Top Secret eligibility Salary Range: $68,100 USD - $102,100
USD Salary Range 2: $83,800 USD - $125,800 USD Employees may be
eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual
bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as
allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice
President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
