Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer . This
position will be located in Colorado Springs, CO or Roy, UT and
will support Sentinel (Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD))
program. Responsibilities:
- Performs technical planning, system integration, verification
and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness
analyses for total systems.
- A nalyses are performed at all levels of total system product
to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation,
operation, maintenance and disposal.
- Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or
product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge
technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade
studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies
to translate customer requirements into hardware and software
specifications.
- Assimilate information from multiple sources, create coherent
plans and then execute those plans
- Operates independently with little to no supervision, and
establish a solid working relationship with other technical staff,

9/80A. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day
Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role
may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. Basic
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical
discipline
- A minimum 14 years of related experience with a Bachelor's
degree; 12 years with a Master's; or 9 years with PhD
- U.S. Citizenship with active DoD Secret/Top Secret Clearance
and eligible for Special Access Program Clearance (clearance
awarded or reviewed in the last 6 years), and a bility to obtain
Top Secret Clearance
- 4 plus years of SE experience
- Missile experience
- Experience leading technical teams of 20 people or more
- Experience presenting to leadership
- Experience managing and developing engineering
requirements
- Experience in DOORS Preferred Qualifications:
- Very strong understanding of SE process, including SE
experience across multiple levels of integration
- 6 plus years of SE experience
- Top Secret clearance
- Strong Missile experience
- Operates independently with little to no supervision, and the
ability to establish a solid working relationship with technical
staff, peers, and customers
- Well versed in presenting to senior leadership
- Strong background in managing and developing engineering
requirements
- Experience in DOORS
- Able to assimilate information from multiple sources, create

staff, peers, and customers #GBSDsystems Salary Range: $134,700 USD
- $202,100 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus
in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward
individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in
company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions
may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop
