will be located in Colorado Springs, CO.What you get to do:
- Work with cross-discipline team members and must have excellent
verbal and written communication skills, presentation experience
and the ability to work with a diverse community of engineers and
managers to achieve the goals of the program team.
- Lead a technical team performing support of both operational
space applications and expert level system administration.
- Perform technical planning and analysis for all levels of
system product sustainment to include concept, design, fabrication,
test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
- Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or
product requirements are deployed into a space operations
environment.
- Interface with a breadth of space operations stakeholders to
include military decision makers, industry consultants, and
corporate leadership and internal engineering associates of a
system design lifecycle-oriented program.
- Responsible for $4.25M material management that includes
hardware and software inventory, service level agreements and
licensing.
- Involvement with Public Private Partnership by providing
government personnel with resources per contract and develop
long-term plan to create a self-sustaining software maintenance
facility.
- Assist in new business activities such as proposals and funded
studies and may include authoring sections for both.Basic
Qualifications:
- Software Engineer BQ: Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
with 2 years of engineering experience; OR Master's degree in STEM
discipline
- Experience with C++, Python, Perl, Matlab
- Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret
and SCI.Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with space operations and sustainment programs.
- Experience presenting to customers; both military and industry
consultants
- Experience working with a cross-discipline team of management
and various levels of technicians.
- Familiarity with earned value topics
- Familiarity with Agile software development practices, Agile
methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), and Scaled Agile Framework. Salary
Range: $74,900 USD - $112,300 USD Employees may be eligible for a
discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are
designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow
employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President
or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In
addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including
