Space Systems is seeking a Software Engineer / Principal Software
Engineer to join the Command and Launch Team (CLT). This position
is located in Colorado Springs, Co or Roy, UT and supports the
Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Final grade level
offered will be based on candidate experience level.What You'll Get
To Do:--- Derive and allocate requirements into detailed design---
Designs, develops and tests displays, controls and functionality---
Designs, develops and tests simulation software for use in high
fidelity simulation based training systems; training systems may
include a combination of console and weapon system simulations,
virtual reality, and augmented reality--- Design and develop
artificial intelligence algorithms to tutor, assess and evaluate
learner knowledge--- Develops and maintains databases to monitor
and analyze learner and system performance--- Collaborates with
Systems and Quality Engineers to ensure software requirements are
met--- Performs software peer reviews, version control, automated
tests, software analysis, continuous integration, and continuous
delivery in accordance with DevSecOps processes and best
practices--- Performs code quality management and corrects
defects--- Coordinates with HW/SW team to perform retests and
regression tests once defects are correctedCandidate will be
responsible for:--- Bridging requirements into software design and
implementation including active work in DOORs and architecture
models through detailed design documentation and into code---
Utilizing build automation tools such as Jenkins, GoCD, Travis CI
or Circle CI--- Working in a fast pace, agile environment with the
ability to work on cross-function Scrum team focused on quality and
capability delivery--- Performing Java/C/C++ development and/or
front-end web development including JavaScript Frameworks (Angular
JS or React), HTML, and CSS--- Utilizing DevSecOps, continuous
integration, and continuous delivery--- Utilizing distributed
version control software (Git, Mercurial)--- Use of Linux and
Windows operating systems--- Utilizing Agile methodologies (Scrum,
Kanban, Extreme Programming), Scaled Agile Framework - SAFe for

Bachelor of Science degree and 2 years of experience; 0 years with
Masters Degree or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree
---Principal Engineer: Bachelor of Science degree and 5 years of
experience; 3 years with Master's Degree; 0 years with PhD or 4
additional years in lieu of a degree ---Full lifecycle software
development experience--- Experience with working in a fast pace,
agile environment with the ability to work on cross-function Scrum
team focused on quality and capability delivery--- Experience with
Java/C/C++ development and/or front-end web development including
JavaScript Frameworks (Angular JS or React), HTML, and
CSS---Familiarity with DevSecOps, continuous integration, and
continuous delivery---Active DoD Secret clearance, granted or
re-investigated within last 6 yearsThese Qualifications Would be
Nice to Have:---Active Top Secret Clearance granted or

CI#GBSDSoftwareSalary Range: $71,100 USD - $138,400 USD Employees
may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
