Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) in Colorado Springs, Co is currently seeking s highly motivated Senior Software Engineer - Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) to work on the front-end of GSCCE software. This software will be performing real-time processing (3-4 Gbps) of digitized RF data utilizing a Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) to perform tasks such as determining frame timing of phased array element measurements, performing signal processing steps necessary to compute the relative amplitudes and phases of the elements, and computing diagnostic information to be used for further algorithmic processing.

Primary Responsibilities:
Parallel processing using GPUs and CUDA code

Translate Python Scripts into in C++ and/or CUDA

Real-time processing and coding with performance in mind

This positions allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at on of the listed location

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Experience with parallel processing using GPUs and CUDA code

Strong background in C++ software development

Background in real-time processing and/or coding with performance in mind

Familiarity with MS Visual Studio development environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Knowledge of/experience with Windows kernel libraries, APIs, and networking layer

Knowledge of/experience with Python for scripting test material

Knowledge of/experience with Digital Signal Processing (DSP)

Familiarity with MATLAB is beneficial for gain an understanding of prototype code

Familiarity with C++ Boost API

Familiarity with Active MQ-CPP CMS API

Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation:

Summary pay range: 93,000- 165,000
