With our competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, we have the right opportunities to fit your life and launch your career today.Northrop Grumman Corporation is a leading global security company providing innovative systems, products, and solutions in unmanned systems, cyber security, C4ISR, and logistics and modernization to government and commercial customers worldwide.Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems Sector organization is seeking a **PC Network Support Technician 2** that will support the operations mission associated with sustainment and development contract, which includes:+ Provides technical support for computers and associated networks+ Installs, troubleshoots, services, and repairs personal computers, network equipment such as servers, modems, multiplexers, related PC software, telephones, cables, and connectors+ Provides personal computer, hardware, and software support. Installs, services, and repairs personal computers and installs attendant software+ Installs, services, and repairs personal computers and installs attendant software.+ Connects personal computers and terminals to existing data networks+ Maintains network diagrams and circuit records.+ Maintains trouble logs+ Instructs users in the use of personal computers and networks.+ Investigates information, network, and communications needs of users, and makes recommendations regarding software and hardware purchases+ Performs basic PC, PBX, and network software programming+ Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, with internal and external customers, in written and oral format.+ Develop and document technical processes and procedures as needed.+ Make recommendations to purchase hardware, software, system components.**Basic Qualifications:**+ High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.+ Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility+ Current Security + CE or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.+ Experience or basic understanding of Server Management+ Experience or understanding of networking, including subnets, routing, and/or VLANs.+ Windows domain controller or architecture experience.**Preferred Qualifications:**+ An Associate's degree and 2 years of related experience or 4 years of related experience in lieu of Associate's degree.+ Experience operating under and managing systems within NISPOM Chapter 8, DCID 6/3-ICD 503, RMF, STIG, JAFAN, or JSIG information system environments.+ Currently valid Security+ CE, CASP, CISSP or similar security certification.+ Cisco experience and/or certification.+ Understanding basic networking, including subnets, routing, and VLANs; Cisco experience and/or certification.+ Windows AD, LDAP, VMWare, and knowledge of SAN storage systems.+ Linux and Windows Operating System experience and/or certification for current versions.+ VMWare experience with current version.+ Knowledge of environmental monitoring tools (HBSS/What's Up Gold/Splunk).+ Rudimentary Scripting.+ Creation and deployment of system images in an enterprise environment.+ Experience with Certification & Accreditation process.Salary Range: $41,700.00 - $69,500.00Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
