For Victorian based employees, the compliance date is 26 November 2021.All other global Boeing locations do not have a vaccination requirement at this time.The Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS), Advanced Ground System (AGS) Software Engineering team is seeking an Experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to support Battle Management, Command, Control and Communications (BMC3) programs in Colorado Springs, CO.The Full Stack Software Engineer will perform as part of a high-performing team and have the opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of innovative technology in an agile environment. As a member of the AGS Software Engineering team, you will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, from design and development, through to maintenance and support of the customer's BMC3 system. This opportunity offers a collaborative mentoring environment where you have the opportunity to learn from others and be a mentor to junior software engineers.Focus areas include:Agile software developmentAbility to work in a multi-functional team environmentDeveloping software requirementsUnderstanding design implementationWriting code to support satellite operationsThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Do you currently have at least a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry?5+ years of experience working as a full stack software engineerProficient coding in C++Experience with Agile software developmentExperience working within integrated development environments5+ years' experience with software design, development, debugging, and performing software integration and test5+ years' experience working in an Agile Environment utilizing Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.) or similar toolsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearanceExperience coding in C++ and writing unit tests in a Linux environmentExperience integrating third-party libraries and software using established APIsExperience with spacecraft simulation, modeling, and optimization algorithm design and implementationExperience with PostgreSQL or other database packages, managing satellite command and telemetry packagesAgile Certifications (SAFe, CSM, etc.)Experience with DevOps or DevSecOps utilizing CI/CD pipelinesTypical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience).
