Job Description:

Description of Duties: The Cyber System Operator/Administrator supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will: * Build, configure, deploy, administer, maintain and operate virtual and physical cyber servers, systems and tools. * Utilize and follow developer-provided documentation to build and configure cyber servers/systems hardware and software to baseline specifications. * Research cyber security technologies/disciplines and leverages optimization techniques to ensure systems operate securely and efficiently. * Work with organization and developer cyber security teams and experts to establish, optimize and maintain necessary cyber policies and configurations. * Operate baseline cyber systems as well as notify and report anomalies to proper team, leadership and cyber security channels. * Work with and assist appropriate team members to mitigate and troubleshoot cyber anomalies on systems. * Perform necessary physical inspections and research using system/event logs, appropriate tools/software, etc--- to identify problems, trends and aid in troubleshooting actions. * Provide timely updates to appropriate team leads, managers and stakeholders on status of tasks. * Collaborate and communicate with internal and external team members and customers on matters related to baseline cyber security tools, systems and policies. * Identify developer-documentation errors and provide corrections to appropriate channels/personnel for correction. * Use REMEDY ticketing system to report, track and document problem and resolution life-cycle actions on faulty systems. * Perform evening shift work and weekend duty as needed to meet off-hour mission activities. This position will be filled at Schriever AFB, Colorado Springs, CO. This position is expected to pay $67,800 - $108,450 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position. This position will be posted for a minimum of 3 days. (the process of which must be completed prior to the anticipated start date) * Must have 4 years of related experience in relevant business systems, operating systems, and servers and/or experience in light programming, project management of small initiatives, and troubleshooting * Must have experience in Windows 2012 (or higher) or Linux 6/7 (or higher) building, configuring and deploying servers/systems * Must have knowledge or experience with operating or administering DoD cyber tools (Ex: ESS, ACAS, ArcSight, etc---) * Must have a current DoD approved 8570 Level II certification such as Security CE * Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance Desired Requirements: * Have experience or knowledge of CyberArc * Have basic knowledge of DoD Risk Management Framework * Have experience with building, configuring, deploying and troubleshooting systems using VMware 6.0 or higher
