We have gained significant traction in agricultural and security markets, and we are looking for the right team members to accelerate our product development and growth.Summary:This role reports to our VP of Software Engineering and is foundational in developing and delivering cross-platform applications. We are seeking a proven developer and has demonstrable experience in full-stack development and expertise in managing AWS services.Responsibilities:--- Work with our team to strategize, design, and develop great software products for Barn Owl customers.--- Manage cloud-based infrastructure and services, primarily AWS.--- Drive the development of cross-platform applications.--- Lead whole projects from design to implementation.--- Work cross-functionally to deliver Barn Owl's products to customers on-time.--- Optimize application functionality to balance performance, cost, and development time.Requirements:--- Bachelor's Degree (degrees in highly-technical fields are a plus).--- 5+ years of experience in developing and launching products.--- Demonstrable experience delivering full-stack functionality (front-end, back-end, and APIs).--- Proficiency in implementing and maintaining AWS services.--- Deep understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript.--- Comfortable working in an agile team software development environment.--- Comfortable working with a small team.--- Desire to join and share in the success of a fast-moving and dynamic start-up that has a proven product and path to success.Beneficial:--- Proficiency with React.js.--- Proficiency with Node.js and the Express.js framework.--- Proficiency with REST API development.--- Familiarity with cross-platform native application development (Ionic, React Native, etc.).--- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Computer Vision.Compensation:--- Annual Salary Range: $100,000 to $135,000--- Benefits (additional $5,000-10,000):?
