As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more . As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will play a key role in maintaining a welcoming and secure environment for all staff, patients, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will also interact with individuals throughout the location, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. This position values your experience in security-related roles and your ability to handle access control and badge procedures. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You’ll Do: - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites - Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education - Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams - Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service - Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: - Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed. - Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location. - Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues. - Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel. - Assist with access control and visitor management in accordance with site-specific guidelines. - Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and other Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment. - Complete required reports and documentation related to security-related activities and incidents. What We’re Looking For: - Availability across various days and shifts - Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments - A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company - Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: - Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience. - Must be at least 21 years of age. - Customer service experience is preferred. - Access control or badge experience is preferred. - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. - Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. - A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
