Job Description Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations

essential functions. Maintain Human Resources records and employee
information electronically and manually that is accurate, complete,
and fulfills legal requirements. Coordinate employment background
screens, pre-employment physicals, and pre-employment drug testing
for new hires, and determine employment eligibility based on
results. Track progress and communicate status to the appropriate
parties during the pre-employment screening process. Support
jobsite compliance with federal, state, and local legal
requirements. Order labor law posters, as needed, and ensure
delivery to the appropriate location. Provide HR department support
by entering, formatting, and printing information; organizing work;
answering the phone; relaying information; and maintaining records.
Assign budget codes to department invoices to ensure accurate and
timely payment. Partner with Employee Health and Safety (EHS) to
administer post-accident drug screens. Respond to inquiries
regarding benefits, policies, procedures, or programs. Enroll
employees in the authorized driver program and generate motor
vehicle reports. Verify and respond to unemployment claims in a
timely manner. Administer and maintain the attestation process for
projects, as required. Electronically verify the employment
eligibility of newly hired employees to work in the United States.
Assist with coordination and administering of new hire onboarding
activities. Assist with coordination and set-up of training
classes, as requested. Partner with EHS to ensure completion of
safety new hire orientation training for staff and craft employees.
Administer and maintain the employee boot voucher program.
Administer and maintain the random drug screening program.
Coordinate appropriate job or project related physicals. Assist in
the coordination and completion of craft new hire paperwork and
ensure all documents are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Build and maintain relationships with all departments served and
maintain employee and management confidence by handling questions,
interpreting needs, and protecting confidential information.
Represent the HR department by welcoming new and different requests
and assisting others. Continuously look for opportunities to
improve the HR processes and procedures and recommend changes.
Required Education and Experience: Bachelor---s degree in Human
Resources, Business, or a related field Prior exposure to Human
Resources duties and functions Prior experience handling
confidential information with discretion and professionalism Prior
experience managing, coordinating, and prioritizing multiple tasks
using professional judgement with minimal supervision Preferred
Education and Experience: Spanish bilingual Prior experience using
Bluebeam or other document management software Prior Human
Resources experience Prior experience as an HR Coordinator Prior
experience in the construction industry SHRM membership Benefits:
