JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Title: HousekeeperSupervisor: Maintenance
Supervisor/Community ManagerFLSA Status: Non-exemptJOB SUMMARY:
Maintains efficient operation and upkeep of all grounds and common
areas of the community in a clean and attractive
condition.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the
following but are not limited to the job specifications contained
herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed
safely may be required, as necessary.--- Clean the leasing office,
clubhouse, restrooms, fitness room, pool and spa areas, hallways,
elevators, stairwells and other common areas on a daily basis,
including trash removal, sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming,
polishing and cleaning of windows.--- Clean the laundry rooms on a
daily basis by removing trash, sweeping, mopping, wiping down
machines and other surfaces, removing lint from dryers and cleaning
windows.--- Promptly and efficiently clean vacant units in
preparation for occupancy.--- Responsible for the care, maintenance
and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the
community.--- Properly care for and wear the required property
uniform and safety equipment at all times; Care for and clean work
area, tools and equipment on a regular basis.--- Respond to all
resident requests and concerns in an efficient and courteous
manner.--- Maintain a positive attitude, professional appearance
and courteous disposition at all times.--- Promptly report any
unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding residents,
personnel or the community to the Community Manager.--- Perform
trash collection, exterior light checks, landscape maintenance,
custodial work, snow removal and AM/PM lock-up of amenities as
needed.--- Clean entryways and stairwells, removing leaves,
cobwebs, trash and debris as needed basis; Sweep and/or blow all
sidewalks, parking areas, and dumpster areas as needed.---
Participate in and ensure punctual response to on-call emergencies
on behalf of all maintenance employees for evening, weekend, and
holiday coverage.--- Fully understand and comply with all Company
policies and procedures.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has
no supervisory responsibilities.QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job
successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,
service requests, operating and/or maintenance instructions.
Ability to speak simple sentences.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to
add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with
10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of
American money and weight measurement, volume, and
distance.INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Ability to understand and deal
effectively with resident, vendor or personnel concerns or issues
according to Company policy regardless of attitude, behavior or
tone of the individual.REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common
sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or
oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few
concrete variables in standardized situations.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The
physical demands described here are representative of those that

required to use a personal vehicle for company business. In such an
event, proper liability insurance shall be required.COMPENSATION:
This opportunity offers an hourly range of $14.00-$16.00 plus
benefits. Benefits include: 401K Plan, Comprehensive Medical,
