Banquet Server Position
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other
duties may be assigned as needed. Responsible for serving food and
beverage with friendly, individualized attention focusing on the
company core values. Works as a team to execute events that provide
excellent customer service and an amazing guest experience.
1 year experience as a server is preferred.
Must have a flexible schedule and the ability to work evenings,
weekends and/or holidays based on business demands.
A working knowledge of the practices and procedures of safe food
Excellent customer service skills.
Friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
Ability to work in a team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain the highest quality and consistent customer service.
Follow all company procedures.
Responds proactively to customer complaints.
Maintains professionalism and is friendly and approachable towards
guests and staff.
Reports directly to the General Manager.
Prepares tables, laying out napkins and utensils, making sure
condiments are refilled, performing all other preparation
Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu
deviations. Communicates with kitchen staff to know if any menu
selections are unavailable.
Directs customers to their tables, presenting menus, suggesting
dishes, assisting in drink selections, informing customers about
food preparation details, communicating specific needs to kitchen
Maintain excellent dining experience for the guest by delivering
items, fulfilling customer needs, suggestive selling, removing
courses, replenishing utensils and refilling glasses.
Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by
Greets all guests warmly and with an appropriate greeting.
Adheres to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
Has some familiarity with cooking techniques and conveys
information to guests accordingly.
Reports safety hazards to manager on duty. Reports all employee
accidents to manager on duty.
Have knowledge of food safety policies and procedures.
Maintain sense of urgency when on service floor.

Hours and Availability
Typical workweek: 20-40 hours
*May be more hours during high event seasons.
Hours vary depending on business demand.
Benefits and Pay
Employees are considered to be full time status if the employee
consistently works over 30 hours per work week. Benefits are
offered to all full time employees after 60 days of employment,
including medical, dental, vision and a free life insurance
This position starts at $18/hr
