Job Description:
Intermountain Healthcare, a leader in high-quality,
not-for-profit healthcare services in Utah, is seeking a dedicated
Physical Therapist Orthopedic Specialist to join our dynamic team.
This role focuses on providing specialized orthopedic therapy to
patients, helping them regain movement and manage pain resulting
from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. The ideal
candidate will be deeply committed to patient care, using
innovative therapies and techniques to deliver the best possible
outcomes. Evaluate and diagnose musculoskeletal dysfunction in
patients and develop effective treatment plans. Implement
therapeutic interventions aimed at improving mobility and reducing
pain, including exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities.
Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as
required. Educate patients and their families on treatment
strategies and home exercise programs. Collaborate with other
medical professionals to provide holistic care. Maintain patient
records and document treatment outcomes adhering to legal and
organizational requirements. Expertise in orthopedic physical
therapy Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to
design and implement complex treatment plans Proficiency in using
therapeutic equipment and technology Capability to work
collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Licensed to
practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Utah Orthopedic
Certified Specialist (OCS) preferred
