Job Description:
UCHealth is seeking experienced and compassionate Registered
Nurses to join our Mom Baby Metro/Denver Float Pool. This role
offers the unique opportunity to work across multiple facilities
within our healthcare system, providing top-notch care in maternal
and child health. Nurses in this role will support a range of
departments catering to mothers and newborns, ensuring a safe,
nurturing environment for mother-baby bonding and recovery. Provide
nursing care for postpartum mothers and their newborns. Assess,
plan, and evaluate patient care needs including both mother and
child. Educate and support mothers with breastfeeding, postnatal
care, and newborn care. Administer medications and work with
healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Float among
various UCHealth facilities according to staffing needs, ensuring
consistent and high-quality care. Strong clinical skills in a
maternal-child health environment Ability to adapt to varying
healthcare settings and demands Strong communication and patient
education ability Proficient in electronic health record (EHR)
systems Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado BLS Certification
NRP Certification preferred
