Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience with 12 months within the past 3 years. • Travel experience is preferred from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted. • Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted. • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Mountain) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Mountain) CommonSpirit Health. • 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Mountain) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Mountain) CommonSpirit Health. Required Skills/Experience: Must have 2 years of ICU experience. RNs required to titrate drips - Must be comfortable titrating all critical drips: Pressors, sedation, paralytics, antiarrhythmics, heparin, insulin, & more. RNs are expected to read and interpret their own tele. Preferred Skills/Experience: Prefer prior travel experience; If a 1st time traveler- then they need to have 3 years of ICU experience & have Epic experience. Unit and facility details: Ratios: 1:1-2 dependent on acuity; may be asked to flex up to 1:3; 1:1 for high acuity patients such as CRRT, IABP, Impella, etc. Shift & Scheduling: 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6 week schedule. May be asked to go into the Holiday Rotation. On Call or Standby will be Rare, for low census. Floating Requirements: Zone 1: PEN, SFH, SFI, SMC, STM, May be asked to float into any other acuity level; ICU, PCU/Stepdown, & MS-Tele. No Home Base Facility. Other Requirements: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027.
