Job Description:
UCHealth, a leading non-profit healthcare system based in
Colorado, is currently seeking a Registered Nurse for our Acute
Care Medicine Specialties team. This role is pivotal in providing
high-quality, compassionate, and patient-focused care in a dynamic
hospital environment. Our RNs play a crucial role in managing
patient care in acute medical conditions, working closely with a
multidisciplinary team to deliver clinical excellence and enhance
patient outcomes. This position requires an individual committed to
patient care and skilled in handling the complexities of acute
medical conditions. Assess, plan, and implement nursing care plans
for patients in acute care settings. Coordinate with healthcare
teams to optimize patient outcomes. Manage medication and treatment
regimens as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patient progress and
adjust treatment plans accordingly. Educate patients and families
on illness management and prevention. Ensure compliance with
hospital policies and procedures. Document patient care services by
charting in patient and department records. Strong clinical skills
in a hospital setting Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced
environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in electronic health record systems Medical Insurance

Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado Basic Life
Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
(ACLS) preferred
