Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Denver, Colorado. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM /n• Seasonal travel assignment /n• Patient ratio of 1:6 /n• Work on 9 Medical Acute Care unit with 40 beds /n• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 7 nurses, and 4 PCTs /n• Must have medical/surgical nursing experience /n• Strong time management skills required /n• Preferred experience caring for at least 6 patients /n• Work with equipment including wound vacs, kangaroo pumps, and telemetry monitoring /n• EMR system: Meditech /n• Perform typical procedures including wound care, CIWA assessments, and heparin drips /n• Must enjoy fast-paced, teamwork environment with positive attitude /n• Work alongside experienced staff in collaborative environment /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility is part of a comprehensive medical center featuring a 40-bed medical acute care unit that provides high-quality patient care in a team-oriented environment.
