Job Description:
UCHealth, a premiere Colorado-based, nonprofit health care
system, is seeking a dedicated Nursing Supervisor to join our team.
This role is critical in upholding our commitment to exceptional
patient care across our hospitals and outpatient facilities. The
Nursing Supervisor will oversee the nursing staff and ensure the
highest standards of care are maintained, while also supporting
ongoing education and adhering to compliance with healthcare
regulations and standards. Oversee the daily operations of the
nursing staff and ensure adherence to policies and patient care
standards. Develop and implement training programs to enhance the
professional skills of the nursing staff. Manage staffing schedules
to ensure adequate coverage and patient care. Collaborate with
healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes and healthcare
processes. Monitor and review patient care reports and implement
improvements as needed. Ensure compliance with healthcare
regulations and maintaining accreditation standards. Provide
clinical leadership and guidance in handling complex patient
situations. Leadership and management abilities Strong
communication and interpersonal skills In-depth knowledge of
healthcare regulations and accreditation Ability to make strategic
decisions under pressure Proficient in the use of medical software
and record-keeping Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in
the state of Colorado Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification (preferred)
