Job Description:
UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel RN
specializing in Acute Care for Transplant and Thoracic patients to
join our esteemed team. This position involves providing top-tier
medical care at various locations within our Colorado-based,
nonprofit health care system, known for its patient-centered
approach and robust medical services. The role demands a high level
of expertise in acute care nursing, with a particular focus on
post-transplant and thoracic surgery patient care. The successful
candidate will possess a deep understanding of patient needs in
these specialties and will be pivotal in ensuring smooth care
transitions and optimal patient outcomes across our facilities.
Provide expert nursing care to transplant and thoracic surgery
patients in acute settings. Travel between UCHealth facilities to
deliver consistent and specialized care as needed. Monitor patient
recovery and adjust care plans in consultation with healthcare
teams. Educate patients and families on postoperative and recovery
processes. Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve
patient outcomes. Maintain accurate patient records and report on
patient status to relevant stakeholders. Proficiency in managing
post-surgical recovery for transplant and thoracic surgery
patients. Ability to adapt to multiple healthcare settings and
teams. Strong communication and patient education skills. Expertise
in clinical assessment and care plan development. Medical Insurance

Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Colorado.
BLS/CPR certification. ACLS certification preferred.
