Job Description:
UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and skilled Procedural Radiology
RN to join our dynamic team in our healthcare system based in
Colorado. As a Procedural Radiology RN, you will be integral in
providing high-quality patient-centered care within our advanced
radiology departments across multiple hospitals and outpatient
facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for patient
preparation, monitoring and recovery for radiological procedures,
delivering expert nursing care, and ensuring patient safety
throughout their procedural journey. This role demands a deep
understanding of radiological procedures and a commitment to
adhering to the highest standards of safety and patient care.
Assess patient conditions and nursing needs, setting goals and
prescribing appropriate nursing interventions for radiological
procedures. Administer medications and record reactions. Monitor
vital signs during radiological interventions, ensuring compliance
with safety protocols. Educate patients and families about
procedures, post-procedural care, and safety issues. Document
patient care services and outcomes reliably and accurately.
Maintain a cooperative relationship among health care teams by
communicating information and participating in team problem-solving
methods. Strong clinical skills with detailed knowledge of
radiology. Proficient in using radiological equipment and safety
protocols. Excellent patient management skills. Ability to respond
effectively in emergency scenarios. Strong documentation and
communication abilities. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the State of Colorado. BLS Certification. ACLS Certification.
Radiology Nurse Certification (CRN) preferable.
