Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Degree in Radiologic Technology,
Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and
minimum 1 years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who
do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Perform
diagnostic radiographic procedures utilizing x-ray imaging
equipment to capture high-quality images for accurate radiologic
diagnosis. This contract position is based in Denver, CO, and
involves working closely with patients, radiologists, and
healthcare teams to ensure efficient and safe imaging services. Key
Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures according to
physician specifications. Operate and maintain X-ray imaging and
related equipment properly. Educate, position, and immobilize
patients to achieve optimal image quality. Coordinate examinations
to ensure timeliness, quality, and continuity of care. Accurately
follow imaging orders and submit images with clinical information
to radiologists for interpretation. Evaluate image quality and
address any issues promptly. Communicate effectively with patients,
coworkers, radiologists, and leadership. Utilize and maintain
department supplies responsibly. Adhere to sterile technique and
infection prevention protocols. Safely handle patient transfers and
administer contrast agents as directed by radiologist protocols.
Follow Radiation Safety Measures (ALARA) to protect patients and
staff. Supervise and assess student radiographers participating in
clinical training. Qualifications: Proven experience in diagnostic
radiologic imaging. Knowledge of radiation safety and imaging
protocols. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced
environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Certification and licensing as a Radiologic Technologist. Location
