Med/Surg/Telemetry Experience Experience caring for patients with
Heparin drips and Patient-Controlled Analgesics Description: This
is a travel RN position in the Progressive Care Unit. The unit has
34 beds and a staff of approximately 50. Patient ratios are
maintained at 1:3-4. The night shift staffing typically consists of
a charge RN and 2 patient care technicians. Staffing may vary based
on patient census. Essential equipment includes bladder scanners,
EKG machines, and various lifts. Experience with solid organ
transplant patients is preferred. Candidates should be reliable,
adaptable, and able to multi-task. The environment is fast-paced,
requiring the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Wound and drain care procedures are common in this unit.
