CO is looking for one EMS coordinator/compliance officer to join
our 59 person strong team. We are located on 11111 E Mississippi
Ave Ste 163. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and
engaged. Job Summary The EMS Director is responsible for planning,
organizing, directing, and controlling significant operations and
maintenance functions of all operational aspects for Metro Care
Ambulance LLC. The EMS Director is responsible for all affairs that
affect the operations of Metro Care Ambulance LLC. Performs a wide
range of difficult to complex administrative activities related to
operations and discretionary activities that serve to support an
effective EMS operation. The EMS Director is responsible for
building and implementing guidelines for authorized agency plans,
programs, and procedures to ensure effective management of the
personnel, activities, and programs and to work toward the
attainment of current and future company objectives. Benefits Paid

Pay and Bonus Structure Raises with bonus at three-month,
six-month, and yearly reviews. Overtime (time-and-a-half) pay
available for >40 hours per week. Holiday Pay (time-and-a-half)
Shift Hours Full-Time or Part-Time options available but must be
available Monday-Friday Essential Functions Strategic Planning:
Recommends policies to company owners. Maintains communication with
other surrounding agencies, hospital coordinators, and CPDHE. Takes
initiative in working with other company supervisors and company
owners to set strategic departmental goals with limited resources
allotted. Technical Services and Equipment Management and
Monitoring Responsible for working knowledge of all equipment and
computer software within the agency. Ensure personnel can
effectively use necessary equipment and computer systems for
assigned tasks. Daily Operations and Supervisory Responsibilities
of EMS Operations in Denver Metro: Ensure that assigned personnel
are fully informed of agency policies, local procedures, and other
information pertinent to their jobs and job responsibilities.
Responsible for reviewing performance evaluations of all personnel
within the agency and providing input into appraisal process.
Administers discipline and counseling to achieve the desired
result. May carry out discipline up to and including termination.
Responsible for adequate staffing of the Division of EMS
Operations. Ensure that certifications are maintained by all
employees within the EMS Department to include self. Agency
Engagement: Responsible for maintaining good relations with the
agency contracted facilities/hospitals as they relate to the field
operations divisions. Attends and produces continued education
programs for self and EMS Department. Misc. Other duties as
assigned by Agency Owners and Operations Support Specialist.
Qualifications Job Requirements Associate degree or equivalent
experience (2 years senior management experience) and/or any
equivalent combination of education and experience that provides
the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Strong background in
Operational aspects of Emergency Medical Services. National
Registry and/or State Certification as EMT-Paramedic. Current
Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS) Current Basic
Cardiac Life Support certification (BCLS) Current Pediatric
Advanced Life Support certification (PALS) Must be reachable at a
designated cell phone (provided by agency). Must attend scheduled
and called meetings. Must have strong computer skills. Must be able
to operate a motor vehicle and in possession of a valid driver's
license issue by the State of Colorado. Must be able to
successfully pass a drug screen and background check. Must be in
compliance with agencies’ motor vehicle insurance policy.
Environmental Conditions: Typically, Office Environment. However,
must be adaptive to work in all types of weather conditions,
including, but not limited to, rain, snow, heat, etc. This position
requires that the EMS Director be physically able to function in
the field as a Paramedic. Mental Demands: Frequently requires time
pressures, emergency situations, frequent change of tasks,
irregular schedule/overtime, performing multiple tasks
simultaneously, working closely with others as part of a team,
tedious or exacting work, noisy/distracting environment, stress,
