As a leading provider of behavioral health services, we are seeking skilled professionals of the highest caliber who share our commitment to providing state-of-the-art psychiatric services.Behavioral Health Solutions (BHS) is seeking Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs, FNPs, AGNPs) or Physician Assistants (PA-C) licensed in Colorado to work direct care within our contracted Skilled Nursing Facilities.Service Areas Incorporate

• Denver MetroResponsibilities
  • Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
  • Assess the patient's mental status based on symptoms.
  • Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
  • Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.
  • Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.Job Type
    • Full-time or Part-time available W2 Billable Hour or 1099 Independent Contractor Rates
    • As a provider with BHS, you will have the freedom to create your own schedule, days of the week preferred.Requirements
      • Licensed in Colorado by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry.
      • Licensed by the Colorado Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA)
      • Possession of Malpractice Insurance if Independent Contractor (offered by the company for W2 employees)
      • 1 year of Geri Psych Experience.
      • 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.Skills
        • Basic computer knowledge.
        • Experience with EMR/EHR Systems (Athena I, a plus).
        • Excellent written communication.
        • Attention to detail.
        • Strong interpersonal skills.
        • Flexible, organized and functions under stressful situations.

            • $120,000 to $200,000 annually DOE
