Pay Information $2,245 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Float Pool ICU CCU Job
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour day shift - Days Guaranteed
Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of one year preferred
License: State RN license or RN license from a participating state
in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) Certifications: - American
Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Certification Must-Have: - Nursing skills and knowledge base
specific to specialty - Ability to float to any location within 60
miles of the original assignment location or identified float zone
Job Description: - Assume responsibility and accountability for
facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the
healthcare team and patients/families to identify and meet
physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. - Promote optimal health,
well-being, and safety through the nursing process in accordance
with patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse
Practice Act. - Demonstrate personal accountability for
relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values. -
Assess patient needs through observation, interview, and review of
medical records and clinical data. - Evaluate patient response and
intervene to ensure optimal outcomes. - Develop and implement
patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary
team. - Provide various therapeutic and diagnostic interventions,
including IVs, incision/wound care, medication administration,
catheterization, and specimen collections. - Promote, advocate, and
collaborate to protect patient health, safety, and rights. -
Provide education to patients/families, assessing learning
readiness and evaluating teaching effectiveness. - Deliver
compassionate, coordinated care, respecting patient preferences,
values, and needs. - Delegate tasks to non-RN personnel per state
regulations and hospital policy. - Use time, personnel, equipment,
and supplies efficiently for high-quality, cost-effective patient
care. - Serve as a professional role model, demonstrating ethical,
legal, and professional nursing practice. - Manage resources and
patient flow, matching nursing competencies with patient and unit
needs. - Follow standards of care, hospital policies/procedures,
and regulatory guidelines. - Function effectively within nursing
and inter-professional teams, promoting communication, respect, and
shared decision-making. - Precept/mentor new staff or nursing
students as necessary. - Seek learning opportunities and pursue
continuing education for skill and competency maintenance. -
Maintain professional records evidencing competency and lifelong
learning. - Evaluate nursing practice in relation to professional
standards, guidelines, and regulations; take action to achieve
identified goals. - Participate in unit-based quality improvement,
evidence-based practice, and research activities. - Apply current
healthcare research findings to expand clinical knowledge and
