Description

All Smiles Dental Group, an established family practice located in Colorado Springs, CO, is growing and looking for an experienced Dental Patient Coordinator for our busy family practice. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday and 1 (short) Saturday per month. We have a strong team and are looking to add someone who thrives in a fast-paced work environment. Duties/Responsibilities:

• Welcome patients into the office upon arrival, gathering necessary information such as patient demographics, insurance information, and updated health history
• Deliver a distinctive patient experience with every patient both in person and over the phone
• Answer calls, and schedule new and existing patients for dental treatment
• Maintain a clean and welcoming patient waiting area
• Knowledge of dental insurance and an understanding of the breakdown of benefits
• Review treatment plans and financials with patients
• Assist with meeting office financial goals by ensuring hygiene and dentist schedules are full and scheduled appropriately
• Collect patient payments and post them to their patient ledger
• Update necessary documents into Denticon
• Make outbound calls to confirm upcoming appointments
• Additional duties as needed such as assisting with laundry, taking out the trash, refilling supplies in restrooms, and any other necessary tasks in our office

  Requirements
  
  
  • 2 or more years of experience in a dental front office setting, is required
  • Ability to work independently
  • Customer service oriented
  • Team player
  • Knowledge of Denticon is preferred but not required
    
    Salary Description
    
    $18-$21/hr
