Locums - Colorado Springs, Colorado, OB/GYN Hospitalist Opening

• Clinical Role:

  • Shift: 7a-7a- 24 hours in house
  • Weekend requirements
  • See all pre-term and non-labor Triage patients
  • Assist Private MD on some C-Sections
  • Accept sign out of Private MD for coverage (58% of nights)
  • Care for all unassigned and transfer OB
  • GYN Floor & ER consults and emergent GYN surgeries
  • Backup Private MD labor patients for emergent needs
  • Procedures required- SV, CS, Laparoscopic, D&S, Hysteroscopy
  • 3 Private MDs in 2 Groups that we work with. 24/7 Anesthesia and OR staff
  • GYN ONC and all standard specialties
  • MFM by phone 24/7 who read all OB US and can do in person consults as needed but do not participate in any deliveries. Receive transfers from sister
  • NICU and Newborn Nursery size- 48 rooms
  • Annual Births- 192
  • EMR- EPIC
  • NICU/PICU Level- Level lll
  • Subspecialty back up- Anesthesia, GYN ONC, MFM
  • Board Certified Required
  • Active CO License
  • ACLS, DEA Required
