Here's a summary of responsibilities:

Under the direction and supervision of the Vice President, People Operations, the Manager, Mental Health & Wellness Programs will support the development and implementation of mental health and wellbeing strategies, policies, and procedures for Team USA team members. The Manager will triage and refer mental health and wellbeing services to team members, and develop education, programming, and training targeted at supporting Team USA team members located across the country and traveling around the world.

The Manager is clinically competent and continuously maintains current licensure and/or certification in their field. The Manager must be experienced in corporate settings with individuals of diverse backgrounds and in creating and completing necessary documentation.

Here's how you'll have an impact:

Mental Health & Wellbeing Services & Strategy

  • Develop and implement a holistic strategy and annual roadmap for mental health and wellbeing programs, services, and resources for USOPC team members. Contribute to and enhance overall Total Rewards strategy in support of the collective health and wellbeing of Team USA.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for team members for mental health and wellbeing services. Identify the appropriate resources to provide in a confidential manner, including triage, referral, and follow-up.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on general issues of team member mental health and wellbeing needs. Collaborate across Team USA stakeholders on program and process improvements.
  • Lead the development and implementation of mental health and wellbeing policies, procedures, and trainings for Team USA team members.
  • Contribute to the development of an environment for Team USA team members that is healthy, safe, equitable, and culturally affirming.
  • Partner with the Psychological Services team in Sports Medicine to create and maintain a cohesive and comprehensive approach to mental health and wellbeing. Ensure strategic alignment in services for both team members and athletes.

    Team Member Engagement & Training

    • Provide consultation, training, and educational resources for team members to address needs related to mental health and wellbeing.
    • Serve as a member of the Wellness Committee leadership, providing expertise on program offerings, best practices, and overall strategy.
    • Provide a high level of service and communication at all times to all entities.
    • Stay current on trends within mental health and wellbeing to ensure cutting-edge, evidence-based resources to Team USA staff.

      Mental Health Care

      • During Games periods, under direction of the USOPC Chief Medical Officer (CMO), partner with the Psychological Services team to provide mental health and wellbeing services to Team USA staff, to include triage, assessment, referral, and/or interventions as appropriate.
      • Serve as an active member and contributor to the Psychological Services team for best practices and optimal care.
      • Provide periodic backup coverage for Psychological Services team members as needed (e.g., covering vacation, leaves of absence, etc.).
      • Follow clinical standards set forth by the CMO and Sr. Dir., Psychological Services.
      • Adhere to HIPAA-compliant documentation and recordkeeping including recording and entering all staff encounters and related data in the electronic medical records in a complete and timely manner.
      • Adhere to the Code of Ethics and credentialing requirements of the Professional State Licensing Board in field of practice.
      • Provide for patient management in accordance with licensure, certification, scope of practice, standards of care, and functions of individual professional licensure permitted by State law. Maintain continuous compliance with medical and legal requirements for the states of employment as well as any other states in which the mental health provider supports the USOPC or National Governing Bodies at sporting events or other assigned activities.

        Here are the skills and experience you'll need to be effective:

        • Master's degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field
        • State Licensure as a mental health provider in applicable states of work, within 1 year of hire; additional state licensures, as appropriate
        • Current CPR certification
        • 5+ years of experience creating and implementing mental health, wellness, and/or wellbeing programs for staff in corporate settings

          Here are some things that will make you super competitive for this role:

          • AASP Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) Certification preferred
          • 2+ years of experience providing mental health or wellbeing services, preferably in corporate settings
          • Electronic Medical Record experience

            Here's where you'll work:

            • This is a hybrid role that will regularly work from both our Colorado Springs Downtown Headquarters and remotely.

              Here's some more information you need to know:

              • Hiring Pay Range: $74,465 - $94,571 per year
              • This is a full-time, exempt position intended to work 40 hours per week
              • Bonus:This position will be eligible for the Annual Incentive Award Program at a 15% target. This program is subject to change or elimination by the USOPC at any time at its sole discretion
