Job Description:
The Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences at the
University of Colorado Colorado Springs will establish and maintain
a pool of Clinical Lecturers in Nursing from which future
appointments to temporary, non-tenure track positions will be made.
Appointments are part-time (less than 50% time) and will be made
semester-by-semester.
The position is responsible for teaching and supervising a clincial
group of students at the clinical sites for the Department of
Nursing. Specialties include Medical-Surgical, Pediatric, Maternal
Child Care, Mental Health and Community Health.
This position has been determined to be exempt from the overtime
provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

The Helen and Arthur E Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and
Health Sciences at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs is a
distinguished and innovative college providing excellence in
education, scholarship, and practice in the health professions. The
college currently serves -1400 students (80% undergraduate and 20%
graduate) through its programs in the Department of Nursing, the
Department of Health Sciences, and the Department of Human
Physiology and Nutrition.

What We Offer:
Salary Range: Generally $50 per contact hour
Temporary Lecturer appointments are not eligible for group health
and life insurance benefits or vacation leave accrual. This

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently
required to move. Employee is occasionally required to have long
periods of sitting, moderate bending, and fine motor skills. The
employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
