ORAL SURGEON- Full Time - Colorado Springs, CO Excellent earning potential, benefits, and great staff to support you in beautiful, Colorado Springs, CO! A private practice feel with a Mayo Clinic trained mentor surgeon to work with you! Lots of referrals in this successful practice. You focus on excellent patient care and we'll provide the rest including opportunities to provide a broad spectrum of oral surgery services. Candidates must have successfully completed training in dentistry with a DMD or DDS degree from an ADA accredited dental school and also successfully completed a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from an ADA accredited program. Candidates must have a current state license or be eligible for license to practice dentistry in the state in which they are applying. Duties:

• Perform surgery on mouth, jaw, and related head and neck structures
• Have a passion for dentistry
• Connect and build trust with every patient
• Spend the majority of their time in traditional dental alveolar extractions and implant placement (3i or Nobel)
• Perform IV sedation
• Address patients' chief concerns
• Conduct work in compliance with office policies and procedures, safety, OSHA, CDC and State Board guidelines Qualifications:
  • Successfully completed training in dentistry with a DMD or DDS degree from an ADA accredited dental school and also successfully completed a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from an ADA accredited program.
  • Ability and experience in performing sedation on patients
  • Licensed to practice in state
  • Have no history of dental board actions or liability claims, as evidenced by successfully passing a thorough background check
  • Certification in CPR
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail
  • Compassionate and caring of patients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill.
  • Able to work in an intense, concentrated environment
  • Calm and cool-headed with a positive attitude
