Job Description:
We are looking for either an LPN or a Medical Assistant for this
role. his is a 100% phone job, doing phone triage (in bound and
outbound) and scheduling patients. This person will be on a team of
5 other triage staff who work together and have a good team and
workflows.Summary:As supervised and delegated by a registered
nurse, provides direct patient care in accordance with applicable
scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and
mission of the organization.Work Schedule: Full Time Days/80 hours
per pay period.Responsibilities:Contributes to the assessment of
patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN. Performs plan of
care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care.
Assists patients with performing activities of daily living,
including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
Monitors, documents, and communicates patient's status and
reactions to interventions.
- Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills,
decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal
supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and
take appropriate action. Requirements:
- Credentials:Essential:* Basic Life Support* Licensed Practical
Nurse
- Other information:Minimum Required Education: Graduate of an
accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing program. Required
Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a Practical Nurse (LPN)
or Vocational Nurse (LVN). Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare
Provider. Minimum Experience: None Required.
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red
Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before
start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of
hire. All life support certification cards must be issued by either
the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for
the Professional Rescuer. (American Red Cross for the Professional
Rescuer is only good upon hire and all renewals will need to be
through an American Heart Association sanctioned course.)The pay
range for this position is: $21.32 - $33.05 / hour. Pay is
dependent on applicant's relevant experience.Medical Assistant
performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of
assigned area or office.Work Schedule: Full Time
DaysResponsibilities:Under the direction and supervision of a
provider or nurse, assists with performing patient care.Performs
basic clinical skills and specimen collection. Monitors and
communicates changes in patient conditions. Documents patient care
provided.Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including
reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Maintains
examination areas.Performs administrative or clerical duties as
assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and
patient registration.Within scope of job, requires critical
thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with
minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced
environment and take appropriate action.Requirements:
- Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or GED.
- Required Licensure/Certification: CMA/RMA required at hire.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare ProviderIf you do not hold
Medical Assistant certification or registration, your must have
completed an accredited medical assistant program or have three
years of medical assistant work experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. BLS through the
