    • Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology or higher
    • Must hold a valid Colorado SLP license
    • Must hold a valid specialized service provider (SSP) license by the Colorado Department of Education
    • Must be familiar with and understand the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and the Exceptional Children Education Act (ECEA)
    • Ability to apply Trauma Informed Care practices
    • Have a holistic mindset willing to consider a student's school and home life
    • Possess a self-starter mentality and offer high enthusiasm for student successWhat You'll Do
      • Works with K-12 students to prevent, screen, identify, assess, diagnose, refer, provide intervention
      • Counsel students with, or who are at risk for, articulation, fluency, voice, language, communication, swallowing, and other related disabilities
      • Will employ intervention strategies and support students throughout their learning cycles
      • Advising and working with Atlas educators and administrators
      • Ensures that students' communication challenges are addressed holistically with an overall goal to not disrupt any learningPhysical Requirements
        • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
        • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
        • Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the school and other facilities as neededCompensation
          • $50,000- $60,000 annuallyAnnual Calendar and Start Date
            • 10 flex days per year
            • Can be full-time or part-time for the right candidate
            • Approximately 211 workdays per school year
