Location: Colorado Springs, CO and Pueblo, CO (2 weeks out of the month in each location)Status: Full TimeHourly rates:----$30 - $33 per hour; mileage and travel time reimbursementShifts: Monday-Friday; 8am-4/5pmInterim Healthcare of Colorado Springs is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) as our CNA Training Program Director for our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program! --As the CNA Training Program Director, you will provide on-site instruction and education of entry level care giving for our future Nursing assistants of our certified nursing assistant training program. You will also coordinate, supervise, and direct Interim---s CNA School---s students by administering the program in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws, rules and regulations.We are hiring an ambitious, motivated, and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to help further our reach in the Colorado Springs community and to invest in the next generation of health care providers. If this is you, we want you to join our team! Responsibilities for the CNA Training Program Director Include:

  • Provide teaching and instruction of all required education and skills for each student.
  • Plan, select, prepare, and implement appropriate active learning activities to meet all course competencies.
  • Provide guidance and advice to students in regard to course progress, or any academic related concerns.
  • Develop classroom, laboratory, and clinical learning experiences.
  • Provide initial and ongoing development, implementation, and evaluation of the CNA Program.Job Requirements:
    • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that is active in Colorado.
    • Possess a minimum of at least two (2) years of nursing experience in a nursing home or long term care setting.
    • Must have experience in adult education.
    • Prefer at least one (1) year experience in a management position.
    • CPR Certified.Benefits
