RN Clinical Coordinator: Assists department director/manager by coordinating clinical and department activities for the unit, department and/or service line. Ensures that care is delivered to each patient in accordance with quality standards. Acts as liaison between physicians and patient care team. Maintains communication and promotes cooperation with unit staff and other departments. Provides supervision to the staff; authorizing work procedures and assigning duties. Collaborates with the director/manager on coaching, mentoring and performance management. Promotes the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act. Demonstrates personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values. Surgical Tech Resource: The Surgical Tech works under the supervision of the surgeon and RN. Assists surgical team during operative procedures by arranging and inventorying sterile set-up of instruments, equipment and supplies for surgical cases and passing items to surgeons and nurses as needed. Assists in preparing and moving patients and sterilizing and cleaning instruments, equipment and rooms. Coordinates functions and activities for all surgical specialties; maintains appropriate supplies, instruments, vendor needs, and physician preferences. Covers specialty service in absence of RN specialty leader. Assists in orienting new hires and training staff for the surgical specialties, i.e. procedures, equipment, new technology and changes in clinical practice. Participates in strategic planning and related implementation activities. What You Bring/Job Requirements In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: RN Clinical Coordinator Requirements:

• One year of recent nursing experience, including OR RN experience, required
• Associate Degree in Nursing
• BSN required within 4 years of hire or transfer
• RN License required; Current RN license in applicable state of work or current RN license from a participating state in National Licensure Compact for eligible states
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association certification required
• ANCC; National Nursing Certification ANCC approved is strongly preferred
• National Nursing Certification in Speciality Area, CNOR, is preferred Certified Surgical Tech Lead Requirements:
  • Two years of Surgical Tech experience required
  • Current registration with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) as a surgical technologist required
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Completion of an approved Surgical Tech program required
  • Certification in Surgical Technology from the National Board Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Certification as a Tech in Surgery from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) required
