Reference # : 19-03286 Title : Product Development Project Manager - III Location : Colorado Springs, CO Position Type : Contract Experience Level : Start Date / End Date : 11/11/2019 / 11/10/2020 Description Manages product design and development for new or existing products. Oversees design activities, determines the sequence of production operations, and determines equipment and tooling requirements. Analyzes production methods to ensure time and cost objectives are met. Usually requires a 4 year degree. 7-10 years of experience JOB TITLE:Enterprise Product Development Manager JOB DUTIES:- Leading multiple broad programs and large complex projects in the development of Telecommunication's Contact Center (Customer Experience) products.- Defining, driving, and evangelizing product strategies and direction. Establishing prioritized road maps of new products, enhancements, and infrastructure improvements by collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, Operations Support, vendors, customers, and other stakeholders. Analyzing a variety of inputs including market research, competitive analysis, direct customer meetings, and Telecommunication stakeholders. Translating into accurate technical specifications. Defining scope of projects and working as the Value Team Facilitator (Product Owner) with IT to define requirements and user stories in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Owning original concept through final implementation. - Defining M & P's (Methods & Procedures) for end-to-end product function and support- Driving the development of the product with Engineering and IT teams; scheduling and managing projects, as well as, coordinating releases across organizations. - Providing contract oversight for vendors in their day-to-day performance - Working with a high degree of independence, initiative, and exercising considerable judgment. - Drive decisions and recommendations beyond routine tasks and established procedures. Receives broad guidance. - Accountable for results, including on-time delivery, quality and completeness, within budget, and achieving revenue and sales projections.- Managing product and infrastructure capital budgets- Influencing vendors/partners on product direction, integrating with Telecommunication's systems, and providing support- Establishing Master Service Agreements and Statements of Work with vendors through Telecommunication Procurement and Legal- Conducting RFI's and RFP's with potential vendor/partners. MUST HAVE SKILLS: - Technical product leader to guide the advancement and evolution of Telecommunication's enterprise product portfolio. - Ability to collaborate and build partnerships with business partners, third party vendors, and internal stakeholders. - Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience. Masters degree preferred. - Minimum 12 years in product management and development or related discipline with relevant certifications such as PMP - 8 years experience and advanced proficiency in leading teams, project management, and business requirements analysis. - 5 years telecommunications, call center, or related technology experience - Strong presentation skills aimed at aligning technical solutions with business value - Strong skills as change agent, problem solver, team leader and facilitator DESIRED SKILLS:- 3 years experience with Agile (iterative) development methodologies- Knowledge and experience with call center technologies including call routing, artificial intelligence, big data, business intelligence, reporting, workforce optimization, authentication & fraud prevention, computer telephony integration (CTI), Payment Card Industry (PCI) audits, SOC2 certifications, FISMA, and FEDRAMP compliance.- Experience with vendor solutions from Genesys, Cisco, InContact, Nuance, and Oracle.- Certification and experience with Six Sigma or other quality assurance methodologies EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience. Masters degree preferred.- Relevant project management certifications such as PMP REQUIRED SHIFT:Standard 9-5 work hours with overtime as required. No on-call duties.
