Job Ad Template OU.LOCATION Summary: We are currently expanding our Program Management Office and are looking for talented Program Managers of all levels. The Program Manager executes program plans, developing bottoms-upprogram plans to ensure schedule, budget and quality are maintainedensuring On-Time Delivery of products to our customers. TheProgram Manager has responsibility for the product from conceptdevelopment through final delivery to our customers and isresponsible for the financial and technical success of our customerwhich can be internal IR&D or customer contracts. TheProgram Manager leads the cross-functional teams to review programstatus and ensure individual milestones are achieved. Thisposition is responsible for maintaining communication with andproviding reports (both written and oral) to customers and keystakeholders. The Program Manager is ultimately responsiblefor the overall team, the program performance and success. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provides day to day program execution: providing direction forissue resolution, support teams in risk definition/mitigation,provide program scope details, develop and implement programexecution plan. The primary contact to the program teams,internal and external to the Customer.Develop and maintain/update presentation material forleadership reviews, create schedules with timelines for keymilestones and provide visibility on important projects,establish and facilitate effective meetings, implementimprovements and organize logistics of events (customer visitsetc.)Collect, assemble and organize and analyze data n order totrack and share metrics with minimal direction. Applyknowledge of policies, procedures, regulations (ex. Exportcompliance, intellectual property, etc.) and program managementtest practices (PMBP) to ensure progress toward deliverables. Develops executive level briefing and utilizes appropriatetechnologies to enable integration/collaboration. Develop and maintain program level schedule and budget;monitor and track execution of the plan and communicate statusto all program/project participants; negotiate project changesand incorporate changes into project control systems to maintainwork statements, cost and schedule baselines.Develop and sustain positive customer relationships and ensurewe achieve superior customer satisfaction.Other Duties and Responsibilities: Accountable to the Director of Program Management for allprogram performance.This a highly networked role that requires the ability to workunder pressure and to challenging deadlines.Work with diverse team members to drive business outcomes atthe program manager level.Act as a liaison between the team and the functional andsenior leader stakeholders.Manage the accuracy of deliverables and results andcommunicate to all stakeholders.Coordinate and review inputs from a variety of stakeholders,typically involving contributions from engineering, procurement,production control, test engineering, reliability, quality,operations, contracts, finance. Package & assembly, legaland outside services such as consultants, contractors andsuppliers.Prepare presentations/recommendations for diverse audiences,including executive leadership.Set clear scope boundaries to prevent scope creep and helpassign appropriate resources.Demonstrate proficiency in applying program management bestpractices to complex project/programs.Meeting contractual commitments.Meet all budget, schedule product performance, quality,reliability, manufacturability and production targets.Leads the risk management team to identify, track, quantifyand evaluate program specific risks and establishes and executesmitigation strategies.Maintains involvement in all aspects of the program toidentify and anticipate issues, seeks solutions, and ensuressatisfactory and timely resolution of issues for the overalleffectiveness of the program.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Education ExperienceRequirements: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a technical, scientific or business discipline andtypically 3-10+ years' Program Management experienceExperience with industry standard program managementtechniques, tools and best practices Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) preferred.Experience managing complex development programs includesintegration activities across multiple divisions, multiplesuppliers and customer resources.Strong Interpersonal communication and presentation skills.Project Management Certification (PMP) or have an understandof PMBOL principles/relevant courseworkAbility to understand technical requirements.Uses a logical approach to improve processes and solveproblems.Computer Skills: Must be a proficient user of Microsoft Office software.Security: All applicants must be a U.S Citizen or U.S Person as defined byITAR (a lawful permanent resident or someone who is a protectedindividual as defined by 8 U.S.C.1324b(a)(3)). In order to beeligible for positions requiring a Security Clearance, you must be aUS Citizen.
