The CISO will oversee the development, implementation, and enforcement of security standards, acting as a business owner in this domain.Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate with partner companies to develop strategies that mitigate cybersecurity risks.
• Establish security standards for key systems, including M365, to ensure compliance.
• Partner with Cyber74 team to implement solutions with minimal business disruption.
• Leverage contracted resources to execute advanced security initiatives.
• Manage activities of Security Specialists within partner companies to maintain security standards (approx. 10% of their time).
• Ensure all information systems adhere to security policies.
• Lead internal IT risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
• Build a security-first internal IT support organization.
• Develop and communicate an overarching Information Security strategy, policies, and controls.
• Create a tactical project roadmap aligned with long-term goals.
• Act as a security thought leader by hosting external events to educate clients and prospects on cybersecurity trends.
• Partner with senior leadership to promote cloud and data center security practices.Preferred Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, programming, or related fields; MBA or cybersecurity certifications preferred.
• At least 15 years in Managed Services or Cybersecurity, with 3+ years in a senior role.
• Experience in decentralized SMB environments with distributed IT teams.
• Knowledge of managed services, tech-enabled services, and outsourcing models.
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions in fast-paced settings.
• Systems implementation experience.Preferred Attributes
